Ida - 47 million years old fossil displayed in public for the first time

Scientists have been unveiled fossil remains of a 47 million years old creature.

Scientists said that remains of this lemur-like creature are in pretty good shape and even it is possible to see the traces of it's last meal.

This fossil is named by codename "Ida" and is displayed at the American Museum of National History in New York.

Ida was discovered in 1980s in Messel Pit near Darmstadt in Germany and for a very long time it has been hold in private collection.
