Dr. Gunther von Hagens controversial preserving-art

Dr. Gunther von Hagens (born in Gunther Liebchen, January 10, 1945) is a controversial anatomist who invented the technique for preserving biological tissue specimens called plastination.

 

He is Director of the Body Worlds exhibition of human bodies and anatomical specimens. Von Hagens is known for his black fedora, which he wears even while performing public dissections.
