Tigers, bears and chimps like pumpkins. More importantly though, they are a good addition to the animals' diet. Here are some photos and video from the pumpkin enrichment that several of the animals, including lions, tigers, polar bears, brown bears, and the gorillas, were given as part of the behavioral enrichment program in honour of the upcoming holiday - Halloween. All photos are taken at the Brookfield Zoo on October 28.

Halloween (also spelled Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints. It is largely a secular celebration but some have expressed strong feelings about perceived religious overtones. |

Jellyfish (also known as jellies or sea jellies) are free-swimming members of the phylum Cnidaria. Jellyfish have several different morphologies that represent several different cnidarian classes including the Scyphozoa (over 200 species), Staurozoa (about 50 species), Cubozoa (about 20 species), and Hydrozoa (about 1000-1500 species that make jellyfish and many more that do not)
Jellyfish are found in every ocean, from the surface to the deep sea. Some hydrozoan jellyfish, or hydromedusae, are also found in fresh water and are less than half an inch in size.
You can see here some stunning photos of glowing jellyfish. Photos were taken in Osaka Aquarium, in Japan.
